I am a developer in Cameroon. I make websites, mobile apps, and the systems behind them. Most of my work is the part people never see: the piece that has to keep running on a quiet Sunday when nobody is watching.
How I see things
Anyone can make a thing that works on the day it is built. The harder job is making a thing that still works in a year, when someone else opens it and needs to change one small part.
I would rather show you a rough version early than disappear for a month and hand over a surprise. You should never have to wonder what I am doing with your money.
Starting is easy. I care about the last ten percent: the part where it gets tested, fixed, and handed over so that it works without me standing next to it.
When I learn something, I write it down and pass it on. Knowledge that stays in one head is not worth much.
